Knyte is an enterprise AI infrastructure service operated by Kastling Inc. ("Knyte," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have over it.
This policy applies to knyte.ai and any other website, product, or service that links to it. It does not apply to third-party sites or services we do not control.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide to us
- Contact and company details. Name, work email, company name, role, company stage, stated needs, and anything else you choose to include when you book a call, request a quote, or email us.
- Account and engagement information. If you become a client, we collect information necessary to deliver the Knyte Services, including the business contact details of your team, billing information processed through our payment provider, and contractual information.
- Content you share with us. Brand materials, documents, chat and email correspondence, source data, and other information you provide so that we can scope, install, and operate the Knyte system for your organization.
1.2 Information we collect automatically
- Usage and device data. IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time spent, and similar analytics signals.
- Cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy.
1.3 Information from third parties
- Enrichment. We may enrich contact information you provide with publicly available business data (LinkedIn profile, company size, funding stage) to prepare for calls and qualify fit.
- Referrals. If a mutual contact introduces you, we may receive your name, role, and company from that contact.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries, schedule calls, and provide information you request.
- Scope, propose, deliver, operate, and improve the Knyte Services.
- Send operational communications (service updates, security notices, contract matters).
- Send marketing communications where permitted by law, with an option to unsubscribe at any time.
- Secure our systems, detect abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- Analyze site performance and improve our products and positioning.
3. Why We Use Information
We use information because it is necessary to communicate with you, run the service, improve our systems, protect the platform, and honor our contractual and legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers. Hosting, analytics, communications, calendaring, customer relationship management, payment processing, and AI model providers. Each is bound by contract to use the information only to support our services.
- Professional advisors. Lawyers, auditors, accountants, and insurers, under duties of confidentiality.
- Corporate transactions. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality and continuity of this policy.
- Legal and safety. To comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Knyte, our clients, or others.
5. AI and Model Training
We do not use client content or prospect communications to train public or shared AI models. Brand models we build for clients are kept in isolated tenants and are never used to serve another client. See the Security document for detail.
6. Where Information Is Processed
Knyte is operated from the United States. Depending on the services in use, information may also be processed in the regions where our infrastructure and service providers operate.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Client content is retained per the terms of the applicable services agreement and deleted or returned on termination according to the contracted engagement.
